Courses start at the very beginning for those looking to learn how to heal themselves, family and friends with Reiki Level One. 

If you are already an experienced Reiki Healer or have been using Reiki on yourself for a while and wish to improve your channelling abilities, you can take yourself to the next level with Seichem attunements.  You can start Seichem after Reiki One or above.  See below for details about Seichem Tera Mai.

Why learn Reiki?

If you want to learn how to channel, use & understand energy, then Reiki Level 1 is a great starting point. It can be used safely for yourself to help combat stress, tiredness, tension, pain, insomnia, depression and illness. You can also use it on friends, family and even pets! Anyone can learn. No experience or “gift” is necessary. You can use it just for yourself & do not have to become a professional healer to learn how to use this amazing energy in everyday life. 

Why learn Seichem?

Seichem also helps to open your brow chakra and is a more interactive healing system than Reiki alone. It is ideal for anyone who feels that Reiki is not “enough” or knows there must be “more out there”.   Even if you already have some Reiki Attunements from other Masters' or systems of healing, you can still add Seichem.  Reiki Masters who have done Seichem Level One have said they felt a difference in the energies, making their healing more balanced and their psychic abilities clearer.  They found that the Seichem Level Three was far above the Reiki Level Three attunement, giving them greater healing abilities and a deeper understanding of themselves, the energies and their clients.  Seichem is more indepth and more powerful than spiritual healing and most forms of Reiki.

How long will it take to learn?

Reiki Level One is a two day course.  The other levels are one day courses.  You must leave a minimum of three months between courses, people often leave longer.  Master Level is usually taken about 18 months/2 years after Seichem Level Three.

How many levels are there?

There are 3 Reiki and 3 Seichem - if you choose to follow Seichem there are 5 levels in all.

What level should I start at?

Reiki Level One.

If I already have Reiki attunements what level do I start at?

Seichem Level One - even is you have Reiki Two, Three & Mastership you will need to take Seichem Level One in order to ground and assimilate the energies - they are very different from Reiki energies.  Some people with Shambala Reiki may find they can start higher.

Can I stop at any level?

Yes

Can I learn just to use for myself?

I would recommend this as the reason to begin to learn Reiki-Seichem.  It is a journey of healing and discovery.  You can self-heal and use it on friends, family, pets and plants.

Can I practice professionally?

Yes, the courses give you a recognised certificate and you can join the Tera-Mai International Association, the Healer Foundation and the BCMA and get professiona insurance.

At what stage can I practice professionally?

This depends on your experience, your personality, the work you put into yourself & when you feel ready.  I usually recommend waiting till at least Reiki Level Three.  Some people practice with only Level One but this is not advisable.  I also recommend that counselling skills be learnt alongside the Reiki & Seichem Courses for those who wish to work professionally.  Those with existing qualifications in other holistic therapies can use Reiki/Seichem alongside their current therapies. 

Reiki-Seichem is a long process of healing & learning, the courses are designed to start your journey & outside learning & reading, practice and self-healing are very important if you wish to practice professionally.
