How to use crystals:

They are best when kept close to you in your pocket, purse, handbag or as jewellery.  Small crystals are called tumble stones & can be put in jewellery, keyrings or just held or kept in your pocket.  Hold the stone(s) in your hand for a boost.  Bigger crystals can help to enhance the energy of a whole room!  Place where ever you feel you would like to feel more positive, protective or joyful.   Please note: for giving to children or putting in their room it is best to only use very gentle crystals (keep small crystals away from young children, choking hazard)

Caring for your crystals:

Wash in salt water every week or leave in a bowl of salt over night. Understanding your children with astrology

Crystal & Indigo Children

Do you think you have a Crystal, Rainbow or Indigo child?

There are many websites and books about these special children. Sometimes the information can be confusing and the traits & personalities of the children can blend into one.

Rainbow

Some believe that the Rainbow children are being born now but some say they were born in the 1970’s and are the parents of the Indigo and Crystal children.  In the 1970’s the idea that the 7 chakras were rainbow coloured was founded and since then has become the standard western teaching method for the chakra system. 

Rainbow children can be born at anytime and they are guardians of souls which are adapting to life on Earth after long absences.  (ie: they have not re-incarnated since before the last ice age)

Indigo

Some believe that these children were born in the 80’s and up to about the year 2000.  It is said that they can be psychic, telepathic and sensitive to lies, false authority and cruelty.  It is believed that they have a lot of indigo in their auric* field which gives them their name.

It is unlikely that any more will be born now.

Crystal

These are said to be born since 2000 and have pastel and gold colours in their *chakras rather than rainbow colours. Their chakras are not round but they are like a diamond, cut and faceted so that they seem to shine from any angle, giving them the ability to vibrate in more than one dimension*.  They are supposed to be more openly loving than the Indigo (who are very suspicious of others at times) and that the Crystal children are the future of the planet because they are evolving the energy of the human race to fit with the evolving energy of the Earth.

Crystal children do not necessarily need to become healers, they are going to be needed in all walks of life and many may join the police force, go into nursing, run large corporate companies, go into advertising and creative professions.  Some may become holistic healers, counsellors or carers, but they do not need to be put in a category or a box, they are all individuals too!

The Evolution of the Earth

Some say that over the last 8 years, the lay lines (grids) of the Earth have been changed and a new set have been made and laid down.  These new grids vibrate at a higher level than the old ones (for example: the energy of the planet is an octave higher than before, like on a piano!)  If you visit old stone circles these days they often seem lifeless, as if the energy has moved away.

Some say the Mayan Calendar that finishes in 2012 heralds the time when the new generations will inherit the earth and anyone who has not followed the path of ascension (a spiritual and self-development path in the new age sense) will not re-incarnate here on the Earth anymore because their vibrational rate will not match that of the planet.  It is possible to change your chakras into crystal chakras with hard work and development (Kate offers help with this, come for a healing session to find out how, where you are in your development and about your soul path)

There are some who suggest that anyone who is not a Crystal, Indigo or Rainbow child will just disappear in 2012 and utopia will be found on Earth  - but this is unlikely!  Change is not usually over night so don’t worry too much!

The future races on earth will be made up of several energy types, just as it is now, only there will be a marked increase in the number of Paladies energy types - these are often crystal children - it bascially means that their energy has entered this galaxy using the energy portal in the area of the sky we call Paladies - a collection of stars we can see from earth.  This makes these kind of people more sensitive to the energies of planet earth and they need a little extra help and protection to adjust.  Your child could come from any portal in this universe, not just this one.

The facts are:

Some children are being born who have special abilities – being naturally psychic, sensitive and empathetic.  But the truth is that children with these attributes have been on earth since the dawn of time and they are nothing new. 

There is a need for the human race to recognise that it is in our hands to make the world a friendlier, nicer and more peaceful place to live.  Some children know this automatically and some know that it is up to them to sort things out!

On a spiritual level these special children are able to understand their existence is not confined to the human body but that their soul and its knowledge is important too.  Their psychic abilities make it easier for them to communicate with their spirit guides, with other people and with themselves.  This can be the reason why they know the truth and see through lies, because their intuition is so switched on!

There are different kinds of children within these umbrella categories, for example there are galactic crystal children and grounded crystal children.  The galatic are drawn to space and angels and can be more serious, the grounded ones can be drawn to fairies and play more, be more chilled out and less anxious than thier galactic cousins.

Human kind never remains the same for long and there are changes in the pipe line but these would make no sense to anyone other than a crystal, indigo or rainbow child!

All children are special but how do you decide if your child is indigo or crystal?

Indigo

• Sensitive & psychic (sees things like angels, ghosts & may have prophetic dreams, nightmares & doesn’t like the dark or loud noise)

• Some are said to have ADHD – attention deficit disorder and are hyperactive, sensitive to additives & dislike authority that makes no sense (authority for authority’s sake)

• They may talk about other planets, other dimensions, fairies, angels, crystals and such like as if it were totally normal

• They may question everything and everyone and not take anything at face value but seem to see right through the person or situation as if they had ex-ray vision!

• They maybe autistic but not necessarily, neither are all autistic children automatically indigo children.

Crystal

• They may be sensitive, loving, caring and want everyone to be alright, their level of emotional empathy is high, they do not need to be taught to care about others

• They may seem selfish in other ways because they have  sense of self and self-will which wants action and answers straight away

• They dislike lies, non-sense and delays, wise beyond their years

• They may talk about angels, fairies and crystals and may talk about having been here before – past lives -

• They can be old before their time and often be serious one minute and childish the next

• They may ask deep questions about religion and society at a very young age

Why does it matter?

These sensitive and intuitive children can find this world too loud, coarse, scary and confusing.  Like taking a child born in the  countryside and standing it in the middle of the M1 and expecting it to be ok! 

They need a fine balance of freedom to express themselves and their knowledge, truth and ideas with protection to feel safe, secure.  The way to get this balance is to find the tools that can help them express themselves and give them a sense of being understood.  Tools such as – crystals, oracle cards, art and creativity, quiet space, a chance to talk about what they see and sense without being told its non-sense.  They need to know that you “see” them and value their intuition.

Some people may feel that they need to be softer on these children in terms of discipline and routine but remember, these children need boundries to feel safe, they need to know where they are, what is happening and that you as a parent are strong enough to lead them into adulthood. 

They are often so wise, that the roles can reverse and you can end up feeling like the child and feel that they are the adult but these are wise souls in children’s bodies and with a child’s needs.  They also need to understand that other people live on earth too and social skills are still needed if they are to communicate their truths to others!

Rainbow, crystal or indigo – they all need the same thing – to know that they are valued, loved and trusted!

Am I a Rainbow Child and parent of an Indigo or Crystal child?

*Notes:

*Auric field – the energy which is invisible to the naked eye unless you are psychic.  This is the energy which makes up the body and the mind - it can look like the Ready Break man – a white band around the whole body - but when looked at fully, it contains many colours which differ person to person but usually it contains the whole spectrum of the rainbow and can also contain gold, silver, black and white.  Crystal children may have more gold & white and Indigo children may have more violet/indigo.
